Physical host location
Where a physical appearance is appropriate, proposed Court personnel may travel to an appropriate existing court facility in the country concerned, subject to the necessary permissions and arrangements.
The Court has no physical courthouse at this founding stage. The proposed system therefore supports physical host-court proceedings, secure remote hearings and hybrid hearings.
Where a physical appearance is appropriate, proposed Court personnel may travel to an appropriate existing court facility in the country concerned, subject to the necessary permissions and arrangements.
Participants may appear by secure video from authorised locations, potentially including police stations, homes and other approved locations.
Some participants may attend a host location while others participate remotely from other countries or authorised locations.
Public cases are intended normally to be livestreamed through the Court website and official broadcast channels. Recording and livestreaming are separate controls.
The proposed system will provide identity verification, authorised participant access, confidential communications where required, evidence/document presentation, official recording and technical-contingency procedures.
PROPOSED / NOT OPERATIONAL: No present Court authority, host-court agreement or livestreaming entitlement is claimed by this page.
